When the Nisqually Quake weakened the girders on the Magnolia Bridge, it became clear Seattle would have to replace the span.
Last week, city officials narrowed the options for what should take its place. But after working with community groups to whittle the options from 25, to nine and now to four, they have reached no clear consensus on what exactly to do.
Will a new bridge running roughly along the same path suffice, or should the structure be replaced by a road that would continue to Magnolia past Smith ...
