Syracuse University celebrates the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. each year with a dinner and event at the Carrier Dome.

This year, playwright Suzan-Lori Parks will deliver an address about King's contributions to American life. She emphasizes that King was "a man of the people, all people."
