Delphi Corp.'s CEO expects economic growth in 2003 but says the auto industry must tackle some pervasive problems to make the most of expansion opportunities.

J.T. Battenberg III targeted challenges such as manufacturing overcapacity and automaker-supplier relationships in his address to the Automotive News World Congress. He urged companies to work together to overcome these challenges.
