Katelynn Mary Roach has been through a lot already, although she's only 6 days old.
Her mother, Rose, was constantly sick and lost 20 pounds in the first three months of her pregnancy, and almost miscarried until doctors diagnosed her with a thyroid disorder and started treating it.
As Mrs. Roach neared her due date, Katelynn's umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and she shifted into a position that would have required a breech birth.
