A rare medieval wall painting, that has spent most of its life hidden from view in the heart of Coventry, is finally resurfacing as a potential major Midlands tourist attraction.
The figure of Christ, the mouth of Hell and dozens of impressively painted figures can now be seen again as the conservation scheme for The Doom Painting at Holy Trinity Church heads towards completion.
