The Class of 2003 inductees into the Geneva High School Athletic Hall of Fame will include a three-sport star from the late 1960s whose name was briefly on the rosters of two NFL teams, a husband- and-wife team who resurrected the Viking All-Sports Boosters in the late 1970s, and an early-1940s track star who went on to compete at Wisconsin and study law at Harvard Law School and came home to become the youngest mayor in Geneva's history.

They are, respectively, Gary Birch, John and Ann Burns, and Howard E. Smith Jr.
