Acrylic acid and its esters can be divided into crude varieties and refined varieties. Refined acrylic acid can be used to produce super absorbent polymers and the consumption accounts for 26% of the total. Besides, refined acrylic acid can also be used to produce detergent polymers and polymer dispersing agents. Crude acrylic acid is used in the production of acrylic esters and other derivatives, and the consumption in acrylic ester accounts for around 55% of the total.
