CHILE have named Juvenal Olmos as their new national team coach.
The Chilean football association (ANFP) said yesterday that Olmos would be given a three-year contract, taking him to the end of the South American qualifying competition for the 2006 World Cup.
ANFP president Reinaldo Sanchez said: "I hope this is the first step towards strengthening Chilean football....
