Jan. 14--MELBOURNE, Fla.--Finding it less attractive to follow their research at Kennedy Space Center, European space scientists have moved to Florida Institute of Technology to run biology experiments for Thursday's scheduled space shuttle Columbia launch.
The European Space Agency -- Europe's version of NASA -- has sent more than 120 scientists, engineers, contractors and technicians to Florida Tech to prepare, monitor and run 16 biology experiments scheduled to go up on Columbia.
