Jan. 8--Maybe they should have double-checked the number in The Real Yellow Pages.
While the most recent edition of the Yellow Book distributed in the Knoxville metro area tells cellular telephone users to dial *999 in an emergency, the number is actually 911.
Barry Furey, executive director of the Knox County Emergency Communications District, said Tuesday he noticed the mistake by accident.
