A BRITISH backpacker caught with pound sterling35,000 worth of cannabis in India was tricked into being a drugs mule, her family claimed last night.
Daisy Angus was stopped by Customs officials at Bombay Airport with a suitcase containing the drugs hidden in a secret compartment.
The 22-year- old trainee fitness instructor was arrested and is now facing up to ten years in prison if convicted of smuggling.
But Miss Angus's family insist she was tricked into carrying the bag.
