By next spring, the North Syracuse school district could be the only one in Onondaga County to have all its food service workers state certified in safe sanitation methods.

North Syracuse Food Service Director Louise D'Angelo, a state licensed master instructor in sanitation, said no other county school has accomplished that feat. D'Angelo is the only master instructor in sanitation in the county.

"No one has (had) all their staff go through this program," D'Angelo said.
