Five years ago, Saturn Retail Enterprises was preparing to become an independent retail chain of 80 to 100 Saturn dealerships. But by mid-2004, the venture no longer will exist.
Bill Musgrave, Saturn Retail Enterprises president, said that buyers are emerging for most of the venture's remaining 30 stores, and the factory is reviewing various sales.
