In a unanimous decision at its October 30 meeting, the AFS Trade Commission approved the recommendation that the metalcasting industry pursue the filing of a Section 332 Fact-Finding Investigation with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) at the earliest possible opportunity. This fact-finding study will provide a thorough overview of the U.S. metalcasting industry as well as review the conditions of competition between the U.S. industry and certain foreign countries.
