WILMINGTON, Ohio -- State Sen. Lou Blessing pleaded not guilty Thursday to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Blessing said Tuesday he did not believe he was impaired when he was arrested Dec. 19 but has quit drinking because of the arrest.

``It won't happen again,'' Blessing said. ``My solution will be to not drink anymore.''
