Clay Center, Kan., Hardware Store Remains Open Despite Chain's Other Closings.

Nov. 13--CLAY CENTER, Kan.--The Gibson Ace Hardware Home Center here is staying open and won't be affected by an announcement Monday that all of the remaining Gibson's Discount Stores are closing.

The Clay Center store is owned by the Salina families of Maynard Jones and his sons, who also own Ace Hardware Home Centers in Salina and El Dorado. The Salina store is located at 321 S. Broadway.
