Increased Chinese demand for goods and services from Southeast Asia could not have come at a better time. With sales to the US depressed and internal demand only beginning to recover, China's importance as an export market for Southeast Asian goods is quickly rising.
Over the past few years, the ranks of China's middle class have steadily grown to reach the current level of about 100 million.
