Opponents of genetic engineering frequently resist the facts. Such is the case with the results of the Nov. 5 vote in Oregon on a proposal to require special labels on genetically engineered food.

As the Wisconsin State Journal reported last Sunday, opponents of genetic engineering in Wisconsin argue that the Oregon vote will boost their efforts to require similar labels in Wisconsin.
