COQUILLE - Invoking the memory of environmental champion and former Oregon Gov. Tom McCall, a lawyer for the state urged a jury Tuesday to punish the owners of the wood chip freighter New Carissa for trashing a pristine beach near Coos Bay 3 1/2 years ago.
