TORONTO - Day off in the big city, and Dave Taylor and Andy Murray did what they always do. They went to a hockey game.

It was a chance to see one of the Kings' top junior prospects, Petr Kanko, playing for Kitchener in the Ontario Hockey League. It also gave them a chance to assess their own team, which is slumping without injured Jason Allison.

Taylor, the Kings' general manager, has been on the phone looking to improve the team's offense, which didn't score in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Montreal until only 2:14 was left on the clock.
