Pedro Bravo Torres pertenece a la generación que ingresó en enero de 1960 al Colegio Militar. Cuando en 1963 le colocaron las insignias que lo acreditaban como subteniente de Infantería, comenzó una carrera militar que, 11 años después, ya como capitán primero recién graduado de la Escuela Superior de Guerra, lo llevó a matar a Lucio Cabañas, según la versión oficial, la mañana del 2 diciembre de 1974.
