Kona Kai deal had too much baggage for Gund and Scott
One of the partners in a now-collapsed deal to purchase the Kona Kai Beach and Tennis Club from beleaguered Australian financier Alan Bond said his group pulled out because the property came with too much "baggage" to justify its $40 million-plus asking price.
