DAVID HOCKNEY's painting, The Actor, and Bedtime by Howard Hodgkin are among the works that take pride of place at the National Museum and Gallery in Cardiff.
They are on permanent loan from the Derek Williams Trust and enjoyed by thousands of visitors every year.
The trust purchases important pieces of art for the nation and, so far, more than 100 items have been lent to the National Museum. The latest is a sculpture by Anthony Caro, which to go on display in the near future.
