In the short time that she taught here at Southern Univer sity, Dr. Davis was a great influence on many that she came in contact with, myself included. I first came in contact with Dr. Lucille Davis during my first family health nursing course, which she taught. She arrived to the class early and took a seat near me, my first thought was ... she must be a new student because I hadn't seen her before.
