Baptist Hospital issues $52.4 million in revenue bonds

Mississippi Baptist Medical Center has issued $52.4 million in bonds through the Mississippi Hospital Equipment and Facilities Authority.

The bonds were issued to refinance an existing mortgage and finance 1991-1993 capital expenditures, according to a statement released by Baptist.

Baptist will use the proceeds from the bonds to refinance a debt incurred to construct the hospital, to finance some capital needs for the next three fiscal years, to fund a debt service reserve fund and to pay the expenses incurred in ...
