Peace At Hand in Comedy Wars

Americans and Soviets are now allies; the Berlin Wall is rubble; and even North and South Yemen have reunited. But can HA! and The Comedy Channel, Viacom Inc. and Time Warner Inc. and Frank Biondi and Michael Fuchs all thrive in business together?

That's the question lingering from last week's announcement to merge HA! The TV Comedy Network and TCC into a single service, Comedy TV. The deal pairs up the fiercest competitors in the cable business and ends the fierce 20-month-long-war to see who would prevail as cable TV's funnybone.
