METSIMANONG, Botswana _ When the government trucks arrived in February, dumped the community's water tank and its contents onto the desert sand and then hauled it away, Sethshwakgwa Gidu and most of her neighbors in this village deep in the central Kalahari desert decided they had no choice but to yield to government pressure to relocate.
