RONALD de Boer last night revealed he stopped himself jumping into the Rangers end for fear of being sent off at Parkhead yesterday.

The Dutchman slammed on the breaks just as he was about to leap into the Rangers support after scoring the Light Blues' second goal in the pulsating 3-3 draw.

Doing so would have earned him a second booking following a first-half yellow card for a bust-up with Bobo Balde.

And de Boer confessed that was at the front of his mind as he slapped hands with Rangers fans to celebrate his second-half header.
