Antenna maker expects to add 300 workers as business booms

A year-old company with Otay Mesa and Ensenada operations expects to add about 300 employees and gross more than $200 million this year from sales of a small, metal signal receptor.

C.F.R. America Inc., which started in Otay Mesa with 24 workers last June, plans to hire 100 more workers in Otay Mesa within six months and boost its 270-person Ensenada workforce to nearly 500 employees, said Enrique de Vilmorin, executive director of the company.
