The Blue & White Diamond is the history of the 28th Australian Infantry Battalion from its formation in 1915 at Blackboy Hill in Western Australia until its disbandment in 1919. After training in Egypt, the battalion first saw action on Gallipoli. In March 1916, the battalion was sent to the Western Frornt. The battalion served throughoy the war as a battalion of the 2nd Division's 7th Brigade.
