One of the two men charged with the kidnapping and rape of a 9-year-old Syracuse girl last week told police he and his companion were out to "get some girls" as they wandered around the city last Thursday night and early Friday morning.
Details of the random rape of the girl came to light Monday in the statement of one of the two men accused of carrying her from a living room couch in a blanket, striking her across the face to keep her quiet, and raping and sodomizing her in the back yard of her Burnet Avenue home.
