In an unprecedented resolution of support, labor organizations representing approximately 5.7 million workers worldwide have issued a global alert to labor watchdogs and stakeholders concerning the tactics of some multinational corporations operating in Hong Kong. The alert was prompted by growing concern regarding the erosion of well-established, international principles of labor rights and freedoms and the impact this could have on labor and human rights worldwide.
