HARRISBURG, Pa. -- On behalf of Pennsylvania Gov. Mark Schweiker, Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Secretary John C. Oliver today announced the availability of a new tool to help municipalities protect open space.

"Using Conservation Easements to Preserve Open Space" is a new 40-page guide that outlines how easements can be used by local governments as a tool in their land-use strategies.
