To the editor: The village of Palatine's all new Shopping & Restaurant Directory: Good news for a selected few, bad news for others.

On Aug. 21, as a resident and a business owner within Palatine, we received in our mailbox the village of Palatine's Shopping & Restaurant Directory listing the businesses in Palatine. We think this is a fantastic idea for Palatine to promote local business; however, to our amazement our business was not listed.
