IT'S NOT TOO OFTEN a racer's accident is reported on "Entertainment Tonight" or his injury updates given during national news broadcasts instead of local sports segments.
Understandably, Jason Priestley's celebrity is greater for his work as a television actor than for his achievements behind the wheel of a race car - but the truth is, he is accomplished at both.
And for a while Sunday, both pursuits looked in grave jeopardy.
