WABASH, Ind. -- Wabash Alloys, LLC announced today that it has acquired Culp Aluminum Alloys from Leggett & Platt, Inc., to enhance its ability to service customers in the growing Southeastern United States market for specification aluminum alloys. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Culp Aluminum Alloys' facility in Steele, Alabama, recycles aluminum scrap in the production of foundry and die cast alloys, primarily for automotive applications. The facility is strategically positioned to serve key automotive customers in the region.
