Marsh And McLennan Changes Name To Honor Former CEOs

Marsh & McLennan Group Associates has a new name. The New York-based subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies is now known as Seabury & Smith, Inc.

"The name was chosen," said Bernard F. Rogers, chairman of Seabury & Smith, "to honor Charles Ward Seabury (1876-1966) and Hermon D. Smith (1900-1983), former CEOs of the Marsh & Mac organization.
