A guide to Federal priorities in ocean pollution research programs over the next 5 years was released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) earlier in 1989. The Commerce Department agency report, Federal Plan for Ocean Pollution, Research, Development, and Monitoring, Fiscal Years 1988-19921" covers marine pollution programs in the nation's coastal, estuarine, offshore, and Great Lakes areas.
