SCOTTISH Water bosses face jail if a killer bug ever gets into our tap supplies again.

A move is under way to bring in a new law which will make it a criminal offence to supply water with the potent-ially deadly cryptosporidium bug in it.

Supporters of the new law want to prevent a repeat of last week's water alerts in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
