TALLAHASSEE, Fla. _ It's a record year for research grant money flowing into Florida State University.

FSU faculty proposals drew $147.9 million last fiscal year _ a 13.6-percent increase over the previous year of $130.2 million, Ray Bye, vice president for research, said Tuesday. The fiscal year ended June 30.
