The peach, with its fuzzy skin and sweet fruit, is so seductive that it's hard to wait until dessert to enjoy it. Today we will explore using peaches in a beautiful layered salad.
Peaches or nectarines? Peaches and nectarines are so closely related that seeds from either one can produce trees that bear either fruit and, occasionally, both. Nectarines tend to be smaller and sweeter than peaches and, most obviously, they lack the characteristic peach fuzz.
Advantages: Peaches are a great source of vitamin A and potassium.
