JOHANNESBURG, undefeated in seven races as a two-year-old, including a breathtaking win in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, has been retired to stud, writes Michael Clower.
The decision has been taken following three disappointing efforts this season, including an exhausting bid at Kentucky Derby glory that resulted in a lacklustre eighth.
