VERSACE'S VENTURES

NEW YORK -- Gianni Versace wants pieces of both the American men's wear retail and wholesale pies to satisfy his newly voracious appetite. And he hopes to take bites of both before the end of 1992.

With a barrage of his own and franchised stores and the addition of new labels, the Versace family of Gianni, Santo and Donatella hopes to make inroads to all sectors of America's better market. The group will start with additional ventures on the wholesale level and within two years plans to make a major expansion with retail shops.
