First Gov. Mike Huckabee, running for reelection, released a poll showing he has an over-whelming mandate. But later the same day, the Democratic Party of Arkansas released its own poll indicating that Huckabee was "increasingly vulnerable" in his bid for reelection.

Democrats said their poll, conducted by Cooper & Secrest Associates, shows that Democratic challenger and state Treasurer Jimmie Lou Fisher is "clearly gaining ground."
