Salina, Kan., Downtown Inc., Names New Executive Director.

Jul. 12--Gayle Martin is no stranger to downtown Salina.
As a child growing up in Glasco, she went to movies at Salina's Fox Theatre and begged her parents to take her shopping at Sears and Stiefel's Department Store.
And on Thursday, Martin, 50, became Salina Downtown Inc.'s new executive director.
Martin currently lives in Lawrence and works in Topeka as the communication director for the Kansas Department of Revenue.
