When I Was a Young Woman 
 
   When I was a young woman, I wore a white rubber girdle 
   though I only weighed 104 pounds and didn't have an ass 
 
   or at least I had a very flat one, but all the young women I knew 
   wore girdles with snaps attached to hold up our nylon stockings. 
 
   The girdle had little holes punched in it to let it breathe, though 
   actually it didn't breathe very well, 
   and it was difficult to get off. 
 
   Now I wonder if that wasn't the idea, underpant...
