The state of Louisiana has detected traces of the banned antibiotic chloramphenicol in a sample of Chinese crawfish purchased at a Louisiana grocery store. The sample, tested in late April at Louisiana State University's Agriculture Center, contained around 2 parts per billion of chloramphenicol.
