Regina Sales Decline
Trading results for the UK USM-listed Regina Health & Beauty company for the year ended 30th June 1989 show that sales increased by 71 per cent from 3.42 million [pounds] to 5.8 million [pounds]. However pre-tax profits rose by only 5 per cent from 718,000 [pounds] to 754,000 [pounds].
Chairman Mrs. Irene Stein said that these results were "lower than expected" and she added that the company was taking active steps to reduce operating costs and find new and additional distribution outlets. These year end results are disappointing especially ...
