BROOKFIELD, Ill. -- What new mom wouldn't be thrilled to welcome her baby's arrival -- especially when the wee one has ears like a donkey, a snout like a pig, a tongue like an anteater, and is covered with stiff hairs? Aangelina, a 4-pound aardvark, "burrowed" her way into the world on March 22, making her the second successful birth for parents Gracie and Bernaard, and the sixth for Brookfield Zoo. Now weighing approximately 35 pounds, Aangelina is making her debut with her mom. They can be seen in the aardvark exhibit located just east of Habitat Africa! The Savannah.
