Having grown up in a family that had four sports-oriented daughters, Terri Zemaitis-Boumans used to believe that Title IX was nothing but a good thing.
Title IX gave her sisters and her the opportunity to play high school sports. And it made it possible for her, the youngest of the four, to earn a full-ride volleyball scholarship to Penn State.
